You can warm it or cool it to shift the freq a bit. Shoot it with a blast of
freeze it spray and watch it go wild. LOL!!!

Hey all

After some careful measurements I have determined that the freq. of
Hifer TIL is ~ 13.555283MHz.  +-1Hz.  I made these measurements by
calibrating to WWV on 15Mhz and quickly checking the beacons freq. on
spectran then repeated 6 times and averaged the result.  The real number
I get very consistently is 13.55528295MHz.  Seems these little Espons
are not bang on the money!

I hope this helps everyone as this measurement demonstrates that the
labeled freq. on the osc. is out by -137Hz!!!  Lesson learned never
trust the parts dudes... I'll take the TX into the lab at work on the
weekend and stick it on some of the big buck gear there to confirm
this... I hope by then it is more an academic pursuit then needed...
