[Lowfer] 15 kHz bandpass filter - what's it for?

Thank you for the ideas.  
The filters came from a  1950's era  Italian made Collins /Celettra
Selective Voltmeter. It  covered 4 kHz thru 750 kHz in 6 bands.  The
instrument was corroded beyond restoration and took up too much room to
keep as a non functional monument. Thr filters and the oscillator coil
set were recoverable.
