Hey John
I guess you didn't get my response looking at the lowfer reflector...
Yes 13.555420 is the new permanent freq. I had some unknown problem with
the 475 osc. as it failed shortly after startup. I believe my cat was
curious about the nature of the new thing with wires hanging by the window
as it ended up on the floor... Anyway the 420 Osc seems fine and it will be
the permanent freq.
Hours of operation are 24hours Monday - Friday off late Friday and on again
late Sunday night(PST)
I will be going 24 hours when A 1/4 wave vert is installed shortly...
The dipole it presently is running into is proven to have gotten out to
Ontario last summer when my father (VA3TD) and I built it and worked afew
friends back east with it, however, it is low to the ground and surrounded
by power lines, etc... I get good ground wave coverage for about a 1km
around with my Sony ICF-sw55 and the stock whip antenna. Not bad for afew
mW...
presently it ids with a single TIL in QRSS3 followed three times by TIL
CN89lg at 10wpm cw then repeats... If anyone has a suggestion to make the
signal more readable please advise...
