Some one on this list wanted to know about an article in Pop Tronics circa
1972. It was a Popular Electronics 1 watt tube transmitter for the 1750
meter meter band. Tell you what. I will scan the article for you and send
it to you if you can tell me where I can purchase a complete 1750 meter
transmitter or kit. I checked with Palomar Engineering. They still make
the down converter but no transmitter. Remember LF Engineering CO out of
East Haven Conneticut? Well, they are kaput also. I have a precision
crystal for 178.0003 that worked in the Palomar Engineering transmitter.
Anyway, I'de like to get back into the frey again so I need a transmitter.
:)

PS send it to my E-MAIL address which is: hank at hank.com
