Some one on this list wanted to know about an article in Pop Tronics circa 
1972.  It was a Popular Electronics 1 watt tube transmitter for the 1750 
meter meter band.  Tell you what.  I will scan the article for you and send 
it to you if you can tell me where I can purchase a complete 1750 meter 
transmitter or kit.  I checked with Palomar Engineering.  They still make 
the down converter but no transmitter.  Remember LF Engineering CO out of 
East Haven Conneticut?  Well, they are kaput also.  I have a precision 
crystal for 178.0003 that worked in the Palomar Engineering  transmitter. 
Anyway, I'de like to get back into the frey again so I need a transmitter.
