[Lowfer] K9AY question (probably again)

I wasnt on the streets, well US streets,  when LWCA published (Bill B) or 
reviewed the K9AY. Ive read others on the net but cant find Bill Bowers 
review - any pointers?

Im considering taking this to Mid Pacific Fiji  in June versus lugging the 
10' "hernia portable" loop
for 137Khz and possible for possible Lowfer reception - Im the eternal 
optimist.

Still scheming on what aerial I can get away with here in Okie.....seems we 
have a strong residence association in this street....and the squirrels are 
a mean bunch too. Make a change from moose I suppose. Im also trying to 
figure why this house only has 2 x 3 pin 110v outlets....
