Just got a reality check by seeing the regs !!Heading outside with wire
cutters as we speak.  Regs are identical to FCC.... as far as I can see.
Dropped in to the Home Depot and picked up a 3 meter ( 10 foot ) piece of
1/2 inch copper pipe.... and making up a hi-Q coil.
Will add to the setup before the weekend.... and also I have reduced the
power to 100 mW.------  took out one of the 813's.

It will be interesting to see the dramatic change - when these pieces all
come together, and observe the chage in readability / propagation, etc.

Lyle and I had beacons on 1.9 Mhz for several winters.... and got reports
from as far away as VE7SL.... using QRSS3.

Must remember to use acid core on this pipe ! ! !
