Why pull the radials up if the grass did a good job last year in growing
over them??? I understand that in a season of growing, the grass will engulf
the radials so they will be buried and the second season would take care of
any bare spots.

Mike, all,
A GP now? Only beginning. I'm replacing that which I used last season
and I pulled up through heavy grass in the spring. That took effort.
Ended up with a rat's nest of wire that once laid flat. Then all the
untangling and coiling. Didn't look forward to that again, hence this
new approach. The old one had a few screw type bus bars, holding about
60 wires that fanned out about the vertical. Still plan to pull this one
up next spring.
No Part-5 plans. I support other's efforts seeking that. If they put
one up, I'll listen.

Hey Peter,
So what all do you have for a ground plane now??? It sounds like you
are
getting ready for one hell of a vertical setup. Do you have Part-5
plans???
