Bob, I rest my case. Any unshielded loop needs to be balanced unless you are 
20 miles into a wilderness and no strong stations exist within 50 miles.

I think the model is out there. I will testify his sight is far from 
noise-free and yet he copies anything emitting energy greater than a fly 
doing a pushup. <G>.... And his loop is simple to build, rotatable, and 
requires no amp.
