My UPS runs a automotive battery. I ran it for 2.5 hours one day with the
power off and it still handled the router, printer, and computer. The power
came back on so I couldn't see how long it would last. Walmart battery
$34.00.

... or get a garden tractor (or bigger) battery and let it next to the
UPS - connect some heavy leads from the battery to the UPS. Presto!
Cheap repair and longer run time.
