Eric, guess I was totally 'core-deprived', too, before I finally broke down
and bought an LRC meter. There's so many types that it's really a crap shoot
to try and figure out what they are. Now I can ID most from just a signal
turn. Unfortunately there isn't much standardization in color coding across
manufactures.
