[Lowfer] RE: 185.3 signal

I would like to advise folks that the Idaho Falls beacon (IDF) was left
running on (OR ABOUT) 185.3 October 14, 2003 while I went off to =
Minnesota
to rake leaves. As far as I know it is continuing to send out a signal.

The antenna current is lower than it was five years ago when I last had =
the
beacon on the air and it was heard. But it is closer to the trees than =
it
was in the previous location and has slightly small top hat. The radial
system is not at 'full strength' yet. The beacon is sending 30 sec dit =
CW.=20
