This thread was making Lowfer and manly sense, I mean I could almost
feel the current rising (A-hem!) but then he lost all credibility in its
conclusion. Mike, there's that immutable matrimonial law and you crossed
it. <G>

This is gunna be hard to do. I'll try to repeat what he said. "To hi e
t f m the ife." There, it won't compute; makes no sense at all. All's
well!

Came through OK here. You don't know the wife!!!!!!!! Seriously,
running something along the driveway would mainly have the effect of
increasing the effective diameter of the 2" water main which runs within
a foot of the driveway. I've already considered that since I could
stick it in the dirt alongside the driveway.

Loop on wooden masts might be possible except that they'd have to be
guyed and that is a problem. Everything here is a problem except what I
have now and that isn't very good!

One of the very early 1920's QST had a picture on the cover showing a
big fan antenna with the top almost 200' above the ground. It was fed
against a hugh counterpoise system sitting on TOP of the house!! Now
that would make a real antenna system!!!!!
