Laurence, that's not the only item you need bigger! With 1/2" CU pipe and a 
50/50 loop your current would be 25A (See table 2 current and multiply by 
15.8). If the loop is as big as you indicated yesterday the current would be 
quite a bit less.  (not to discourage the bigger loop, for sure)
