Hi Dale

I am now comparing ( A/B ) the Amrad E field probe and the Mitch
shielded loop with one of his excelent preamp board's. As Conditions
look off from last night,I see no Lofers, I am running a comp on DFC 39 
and the loop is looking good. It is only 20 Ft in Dia and mounted in a
tree
at ground level. Looks in shape more like a kite. The E files probe in up
at 25 Ft 
but under the other ham antennas which is really a no no       HAR    
Anyhow the small loop
is quieter and although the signal isnt as strong it is within a couple
of DB depending
on how you center the cursor on ARGO

It is looking promising and expect to get a 30 ft one up on a rotating
frame in the next few days

see JPG of the difference in signal,, hard to tell ?
