Hey, great hearing from Bowers, Lewis, usually only seen on pages of
LowDOWN, and that he's back on LF.

But what about the freq, more than 4,000KC above the watering hole.
That's going to strain some for listening as many will be tuned for the
mid-band. Even so, I'm sure _all_ will try, esp. with his Texas QTH.

For those unknowing, Bowers, former OK, also from OK, was inspirational
to many for years and produced his outstanding signal from a large
mono-pole that Lyle has pictured from a visit he made to OK. Bill also
liked big top hats but was also known for his endeavors with ferrite rod
antennas, one I recall seeing in LD was a yard long. I think can be said
it was very radio active. ;-)

Anyway, I typing from memory. Others to add more on the "Bowers
Years"?

Looking forward to the mentioned report in LD.
