Mike, consider the following:

1.The structure would be a monstrosity!

2. You would have to cut back the trees to a radius of 30ft to make it 
possible to have a 50/50 rotating loop. So why not put up a vertical once 
you've gone this far?

3. Easy way for lots containing many trees: Install a second Ashlock loop at 
90 deg to the existing one. Phase the loops to produce a rotating pattern or 
simply switch them (You sacrifice only 3db at the corners of the pattern. 
Trust me, 3db, on average, isn't much).
