No Loran lines - ? Dont know if a NB is a culprit?

Interestingly enough the 870 NB's does take some of the Loran lines right
out on Argo, BUT it, and
interestingly it leaves some similar amplitude/strength lines only
millihertz apart- interesting blanking feature!

I get more "lines" with the TS850 but the NB doesnt take any of the Loran
ones that I can see so far -

I get more phantom lines on the 850 which is slightly more sensitive down at
137 but given my noise floor that shouldnt make much difference between thre
two rx's, and Im reckoning I should see the same...more work required with a
stepped attenuator but as the lines have "qsb" and are near detection levels
at dot 60 this isnt an easy chore.

Loran noise here with Medium AGC on and AIP on is S9 in 2.8Khz b/w SSB
filter - switching on the blanker on the 870 the clatter is audibly blanked
(and some Argo blanked) and the S meter drops to S7. Given that Argo has an
AGC component and strong signals cause the weaker ones to be "weaker" I
think the NB should be left on in this case. I dont think a real near
constant amplitude QRSS signal is seen as offending as is left alone...then
again....
