Larry best XDW reports-
Nightime is California- Sea path most of the way save for the first few
hundred which is very mountaineous.
Daytime X ray enhancement I think to Oregan close to californian border
around 2800 Kms.
West East is tough - Not even seen CFH and yet to see V01NA/MP- and I look
+24 for him and Erics beacons. Im sure we will get an opening, but lets say
the Solar/Geo hasnt been too condusive to
long haul for a long long time.
Alaska has a rather more "busy" ionosphere than some, last season I thought
the chance of seeing much on LF from here would be slim due mostly to Hgh
Geo/thick D layer. However it was pretty good around early Jan (transpolar
to EU) - I hope we get one good opening to/from here before I close - but
even if we dont I dont mind, just goes to prove how interesting and variable
this planets ionosphere is.
Its a long way to the East coast from here! But thanks for looking -
Laurence
