Yeah. At this power level the plain old Kohler or Ashlock finals should be 
near 100% efficient and a lot easier to set up than the single ended stuff. 
I'm figuring that the higher speed of the 2N2222/2N2907 combo will do better 
at this freq than my beloved MPS6602/52s.

Right now I'm temperature testing my Medfer exciter which uses an 
off-the-shelf 10.24 meg xtal. Turns out it's fairly simple to pull the freq 
down to 10.2288 which, divided down, is 1704.800 (the Medfer watering-hole? 
<G>).  I'm seeing a tempco of about 1ppm/deg C so that should good enough 
for in-shack usage.
