Interesting idea.. But wouldn't that have been true of the first loop as
well?
Current definitely went up from the RG59 loop to the 5/8 copper.

I just don't know.

Don't have a definitive answer for you.  But this would appear to indicate
not all the radiation is coming from your loop!  That's about the only thing
that can account for such a result.
