Hi Ed,
If you can generate 4 times the desired LO, just use a dual
flip-flop, as described in my previous post, to get the RF phase
shift. An advantage is that it is nearly independent of frequency.
You can also use the mux as described to get the SSB output.
If your audio phase shifter has 4 outputs, as many do, it's
even simpler: Use only one mux section, wire it to send
+I, +Q, -I, -Q in sequence. You'll then have a single-ended
SSB output.
