This is my old LowFER vertical and I intend to replace it by year's end.  
The tophat is 4 x 4' radials.

It's polyester.

Hmmmm ... measured from the mast to the rope it's probably about 40 
degrees.  I've thought of that before, but didn't know if it would work or 
not ... I *do* have some #12 copperweld ...

What do you guys think?
