[Lowfer] Experimental Call Signs

Ya, Bill is on his way to Minneapolis. We are going up to Lyle's the weekend
after next week if that makes sense. He said he would be checking his email
every so often. I just emailed Warren to see what he knows. I see other
applications that were denied and they didn't get a callsign issued. I'll
email Carl Huie and see what he says is going on.

I'm not sure of the full implications of what's said below, but it
sounds like Mike "got his $50 worth."

Hey - Hey, way to go Mike!

Sir Mike, now you tell us what it really means. <G>

Gee, wait til Bill hears this (he's on a road trip).

So Mike joins Eric in power hog's heaven ...(?)!

Despite their evident intention to not approve the pending 136 kHz
experimental applications, the FCC has just assigned call signs to the
last
two (from WE0H and Warren Ziegler). This may just be an automatic
procedure,
but it's interesting.
