Man... now you got me all bummed out... I may just take a bunch of #12 and
make a Fat dipole out of it.
Build a cage out of a bunch of vertical strands tied together at the top and
bottom. Stick a little top hat up there.
Then go to home depot and spend my lifesavings on chicken wire.
I put my LF current probe100turns/100 ohm on the loop to try and measure
voltage, for relative purposes.
There is about .2 to .3 volts volts on the antenna even without a coax
attached to it.
It must be from the local 610 Khz station.
1704 will be up for a few days anyway to see what happens
