Hi, Lewis,
Yes, I'm on the vertical, but I'm sure WEB's is much more efficient at 185
kHz than mine was, so it's probably *way* more efficient than mine now
that I'm running it at 137 kHz.
I did increase the power, as promised, but I found I was *not* running 2W
input as previously reported, but much lower.
After the power increase, I am now running 1.56 watts input, 0.29 amps
antenna current.
My power supply is dropping a lot of voltage during key down...54 VDC key
up, 39.2 VDC key down. I think I can get quite a bit more out of this amp
if I can scrounge up a supply with more umpf.
Anyway, bottom line is, I did increase the power (and hope to some more)
and slowed down to QRSS30.
I'll of course let you know when I get my power supply replaced .. may not
be tonight.
