I like it when my name is used vainly HAR
BTW, I was successful Saturday in installing two leaders covering the
difficult portion of my planned 480ft wide Pt 5/15 loop. Had to beat the
rapidly growing the leaf population, so the rush is off. The remaining
90ft
is fairly simple and amounts to a single, unobstructed, bow shot through
the
tops of three 45' pine trees. (Bob R: do you need a video of this?)

Actually trying to figure how a 480 Ft loop ( WOW ) is part 15
BUT
Tomorrow I am going to pick up a 1000 ft roll of RG 58. I actually have
gotten my 160 meter rcv loop back in operation. It shows good 40+ DB
nulls
in the BC band and is one quiet rcv antenna. I need to get the parts for
Mitch's
Shielded loop preamp and get it working and then get rid of the local QRN
Also laid down an additional 4o radials at the base of my L for 160.
Before I had lots
of RFI in house at a 1500watt level actually set off the Smoke Detc. NOW
with the improved
ground no problems and an absolutely clean TV. These are only about 20 to
30 ft long but made quite a diff
