Promise, my last LowFER post -- for the day!

Back to the band stuff, eg, 137.780 reporting.

Last night was unusual from the night before but in only subtle ways.
MP was only first seen at about 9:30 on Argo in 20 sec mode and barely
there. I was using the Vertical, set up as per the day before. The sig
built up at 12A and was there at 3A. I changed to 30 sec mode. At 7A I'm
up for good and notice MP getting fuzzy (on vert) and a few kc above the
lines were prominent, though not solid. I switch to my prior good
performer, the 6-foot loop and MP drops further down, though the noise
bars are there. After 10 minutes I switch to the 10-foot shielded loop
and the noise drops out and MP shines on Argo. Left for work before 8.

This is interesting for me, and what I think I need is multi Argos
running w/ separate inputs to have real time comparisons. Any one doing
this? If so are there more noise, other issues? All that would be needed
is separate PCs and ants, as the monitor could be switched w/ a box, as
could the KB.

My other delight is I able to be a "player," meaning that although
usual LowFER sigs are not coming in my QTH, big gun MP at over 400 miles
east is and this makes for a party of me and Argo at 3AM. Yeah, I know,
dull life ;-((

Mild Caution: These reports may appear to hype one ant over another and
that may not be warranted. First, it may have more to do with the given
ant I start with. If I don't see an expected tx I switch to another
ant., but that also is a later time. I only stop changing until
something shows up and then may not always check other options, given
the time required for a few inches of Argo to process. Amen, Hey
