This truly, truly sucks.
If there were any doubt about the FCC's regard for ham radio under its now blatant
inversion of Part 15 'rights' over licensed usership, this nails it down tight. All elements of
the proposal, 2.4G, 5M and 136k were compromised (or destroyed) by Part 15 lobbying.
And ironically, it seems the Lowfer community is partially at least victim of its own success.
To whit the FCC's suggestion that hambones can just toddle off and successfully play at
LF under Part 15 rules . . .

This is that 'internet-over-the-power-lines' thing. The FCC are accepting comments on it
right now, so that they can obliviously ignore them and ram this ugly, noisome baby
through. Has all the hallmarks of a nightmare.
