This evening, the atmospheric noise level is so high that the lines from the
local Loran transmitter are pretty faint on the Argo screen. Not much chance
of seeing anything from MP.

CFH is pretty loud day or night when it's on. However, I'm almost 1500 miles
away, and it has to be much, much weaker here than it is in the northeastern
US. I don't think it was affecting reception on 137.780 kHz. Might be
different on a winter night with really good propagation.
