>Thanks for checking 135.922 during the weekend.
>Haven't received any reports so frequency may not be
>useful , or everyone was away for the weekend - hi ?

It appears .922 is "useful" but the conditions over the weekend were weird
at my base. I checked out the 135.922 area before dark on Saturday and there
were a couple of signals showing up - one at .9222 and one just above. Then,
it must have been a light dimmer, but everything including Loran line
dropped off considerably and I never saw much more all night. I was watching
.922 last night around midnight and a couple of strong dashes appeared at
135.9222 followed by a dot and the strength dropped off. Then a thunderstorm
hit and I had to disconnect the lead-in. Not much after re-connecting. This
morning at 9:00 - nothing, but it looks like you make have shifted to .78 by
that time? Not sure if last night I saw a 'G' from John, MFB, Andrews or an
M and partial P from you. (MFB = make fun of Bill). What was your exact
freq last night?

I should be able to see you at your regular 137.780 location in spite of
CFH. Will let you know.

Bill

PS: WA is currently off for a mod to the frequency divider circuit. Back on
tonight at 'low level' whatever freq I can select that is clear locally in
the 127-137 area.

>Have been listening to CFH - very loud here
>in mid-morning and causing real problems for the guys
>of the NorthEast of course.
>
>I am back on regular frequency of 137.780 at QRSS30 now.
>Have checked the loran lines this morning.... and 780 seems
>clear in this area. I don't have any problems with CFH...
>I use USB when tuning the receiver, and CFH is not heard.
>I put up a loran line jpeg on the website some time ago, and
>will see if I still have it around.
>So have a listen to 137.780 - running 100 watts now, and
>antenna current is up to 6.2 amps.
>Drizzle today and temp about 60F.
