[Lowfer] [HiFER] Activity ?

Hi All,

Yesterday, Sunday, I was listening noon to 3PM on 13.554 - .556 but did
not see a thing on Agro 30-sec mode. Today I see report from Steinar
(Norway) on seeing GA (Montreal), FB. I am using a E-W dipole up at abt
35 feet into a balun for 75 ohm feed line.

But I wonder, now, if others in the Midwest are seeing HiFERS and what
is a good time to be looking? Also is there a precursor of activity, say
some nearby service or broadcaster? I have yet to see a HiFER at 13.55.
