Good idea. I have plenty of that size rope. That would make me feel much
better as I know I could get the #12 back on the exact limbs that it is
hanging onto now. It works so well now that I couldn't imagine it getting a
stronger signal with some improvements. So when is the FCC going to get off
their duffs and let us have 136kc??? I want to light up some fluorescents
around here with the amp!!!

Yeah, I hear you. I suggest this as just a test loop not for next winter.
How about pulling up some strong 3/16" nylon cord along with the cat 5 and
leave this as a safety line?
