Jay,

Yes, still at 200mw. How do the two signals compare today? I will swing the
test loop to the loop north tomorrow and check out the signal at the Hamfest
(~45mi north). See if this nulls you out. I'll set the speed to about 2wpm.
>Wonder if you had been using longer dashes (like last summer) whether

Last summer I was sending pretty much 24/7 on the RG-8 at QRSS30 with the
tickler (a slant every other WA). 200ft of copper pipe was laying everywhere
in the back woods. Thought at times I'd never use it again. Remember all the
data we were collecting at different ground moisture conditions? It's been
kind of strange on how the current hasn't been fluctuating with rainy and
dry days to any great degree this spring. Could be because the
moisture-holding plants haven't developed yet. Same reason for the
prominence of woods fires this time of year?
>Might make an interesting side experiment - a screen full of >progressively
>longer element lengths viewed under high static >conditions.
I could set that up in just a few minutes. What range of dot times do you
think would be appropriate? The biggest problem will be what to call it.
QRSS10-120? <G>
TGIF!
