I guess the reason I am asking is I was wondering why Mitch's signal isn't 
pounding in everywhere.  For example, it was in and out at Lyle's 
location, I think, at first.

And this prompted me to wonder why ... if we ar getting hundreds or even 
over a thousand miles with 1W why Mitch isn't smoking front-ends all over 
the country with his (75W?) beacon?

I'm reading your reports that he is coming in strongly now, but I was just 
wondering if someone could explain this to me...just trying to learn :)
