Thanks, Jay.  I am transmitting continuously but did NOT get my new coil 
on the air last night -- still using the original one.

The new coil is VERY near completion now, though, and will without doubt 
be on the air tonight.  I expect better peformance from it if, for nothing 
else, simply due to the fact that it has a variometer -- so I will be able to 
fine-tune.  My current coil is only tunable via the taps on the first 25% 
of the coil, and they are only at every 10 turns, so the tuning is very 
coarse.

Thanks for trying -- here's to hoping for good conditions tonight!  :)  I 
am COMMITTED to making it into CT.
