You could always pump about 5kw into the vertical and come up with the same
signal as you had in the winter temps. LOL!!!
Of course the trees might heat up and die. Hi Hi...
So if you lost half of your signal to the trees with 100w, just fire 200w
into that feedline and call it even. Maybe just cut all the trees down and
put up two towers to hang a flattop from. The benefit of all that would be
lower heating costs next winter so you could use those savings to pay for
the towers!!!
