Hi all:
Solid tuning unit now installed.
On the air 5:45 pm EST (2245UTC).
Loop is 240 feet - 3 pieces #14 - measured 105 uH.
Using 5000 volt BIG  old mica capacitors from surplus
tuning units ( BC375 ) those big brown ones with
6-32 screw holes. In addition a 1500 pF 5000 volt
variable capacitor to bring it right to resonance.

Current DC input to the single FET is 12.5 volts at 6 AMPS.
Measured RF antenna (loop) current is 5.5 AMPS.

QRSS60 on 137.780.
