earlier comment about chicken-wire is actually a very good idea, and may
be
quite practical outside of grass-growing season.


actually do it now

The grass will grow up through it and soon it will become part of the
lawn
Use weed cloth staples to tie it to the ground or cut up coathangers (
ugg )
the staples are a bit more costly but saves lots of blister work

Not the other thing is the standard chicken wire will rust out pretty
fast
over 5 yr the stuff can become pretty bad. Better is poultry fencing made
with
heavier gauge wire and can be had plastic coated.

check around the farm stores,,,, just dont tell them what you want to do
with it

chickens"
