Fine work! You're setting this previously 'ho hum' group on fire!

Your 0.3 hz separation from WA gives plenty of breathing room except for 
maybe Mr 'LF Receiving USA' 40 miles from here. I can easily lower just a 
bit more if need be. Another factor in favor of this closeness is that more 
guys will be seeing ME!

About the ground situation: Seems everyone is a ground expert... for their 
own back yard, that is. Lots of variables that can make a significant 
difference. Suggest you install a way to measure antenna current before 
trying out different schemes. Ground rods are generally not the way to go. 
Most guys like Mitch have good success with radials (like spokes of a wheel) 
at the base of the antenna => than the height of the antenna. The accepted 
theory, here, is that the strong electric field surrounding the antenna 
should not enter the lossy ground, but should return to the cold side of the 
final. So don't burry them too deep.
