Welcome to the Lowfer list Dale. Nice to have a world renown 1296 MHz
EME operator interested in LF. I haven't had my beacon on for several
months mainly because of the hassle of disconnecting it most every day
during thunderstorms. Towers have had two confirmed direct hits in the
past month. No major problems though, just a few fuses and power supply
crowbar shutdowns on the repeaters. Good grounding sure pays off.

I just powered up the LF beacon with a DDS exciter. Not sure of the
antenna resonance where I think it is transmitting. I believe the last
time it was on the frequency was 185.299 and the mode was DFCW at about
QRSS30 rate. I'll check tomorrow morning and let you know it's status.

73,
Dex
