Today I called restaurant, refinery, school, medical, and chemical supply 
houses looking for a glass funnel.  I intended to use it as an 
insulator between my 17'+ x 1" dia copper tube and the roof of my metal 
building -- new HiFER antenna.

I finally found a chemical supplier that advertised selling "a 
teaspoon to a truckload".  Supposed to supply students and professionals.

But I called them and they won't sell to me (the dreaded "private 
individual") because, they say, they can be used for d r u g s.

Words fail to express how utterly furious I was.  Luckily I was on the 
phone and not standing in their office.

I had to add the spaces to even get this email through the qth.net 
anti-spam system.  Wow, nothing is going right for me today.  I guess I'm 
just a bad person.
