I built the one that was in the Lowdown a while ago. It performs awesome.
That is the one that I heard insects with and Friday heard a deer fly for
the first time. Watch your ears if lightning is close as it is very loud.

Whistler Receiver info.  At that site is a notice that the WR-3 is no
longer for sale.

What I really wanted anyway was a circuit I could build myself.  Anyone
have any links to any favorites?
