Last I had heard the 2200M band was on a long-term hold, which is what
prompted my note. I may not have made it clear but I was not shooting for
part 5 but rather part 97. It is my experience that the FCC has had little
reluctance to granting limited advanced access to a band that has been
allocated.

But since Tod's comments from Chris indicate that the band will be ours
"Real Soon Now" I agree with you (Mike - AG) that it is not worth the
hassle.

So, now I will start looking for all those tune-up carriers as Lyle, Dex,
John and Jay prepare their stations. Too bad Bill won't be there.   8-)

Right now Carmel has a temp of 7 degrees. Pittsfield is at 3 degrees with
lake-effect snows to boot. My town is colder than your town. 8-P
