Well the current revision to the SHMRG license hasn't gone anywhere in
several weeks. I think the FCC is camping on any LF requests now even though
they told the administrator of the SHMRG that the latest license changes
would be no problem. It might be easier to talk to Ken about modifying the
SHMRG license once again to include the 136kc band. Maybe the other Part-5
license holders around the reflector could let us know how long the turn
around time was on their license request.

With the success of the 600MRG in getting their license, I was wondering
what the list thought about petitioning the FCC to grant licenses for some
of us to start transmitting in the new LF band. As I understand it, it is
the allocations at the higher frequencies that are holding everything up.
Anyone have any thoughts? Tod?
If there is support for the idea I would be happy to coordinate it.
