[Lowfer] 50 ft Vertical

Hi Guys,
   I started on my 50 ft. fold over vertical today. bought two 12 ft. 4 x 4
treated. going to splice them and put together.then I will paint them to
keep from warping and cracking open. this should give me 19 1/2 ft at
folding point with 3 ft in the ground.
I am using 2 inch alum. pipe. and have a truss wire on the top side when it
is laid out. boy it make a difference having that wire. no bending when you
try to raise it. don't know how it will effect the loading. we will see.
then I can experiment with top loading. the last 8 ft will be fiberglass so
I can wind a coil if I can find some alum. clothes line wire, and then of
course the top hat.
   any one tried this ?
