You've tweaked some latent thoughts of mine!  I just spent the last 15 min 
trying to locate a description of this antenna in my Lowfer achieves to no 
avail. The most distinguishing feature of this antenna was the far 
termination - in the middle of a pond!! I'm all for innovation, but this 
antenna stretched the limits of science, engineering, and good humor!
