Just get out a pile of 2x2's and some 1x2's and build up a wood freestanding
antenna tower with some copper pipe for the top section with 4 small wire
drooping hat wires. It will work and can be put up in a day. You can hang
some cool looking flag off the top of the wood part to keep the wife happy.
Those Hybrid Poplar trees do grow to 30+ feet in 3 to 4 years. I proved that
before sawing them up for firewood. They grow past 60' if you leave them in.
Just plant two this spring and in 4 years you can hang your vertical between
them or install a loop between them.
