I'm sure you know the effective height equation for drooping radials is not 
that simple. (Isn't it Rik Strobbe's site that has some good plots on droop 
angle vs effective height?) I think it's somewhere around 45deg, if memory 
serves, where the effect gets pretty severe. The top hat capacity also 
becomes less with increasing droop and this adds additional loss due to the 
need to increase the inductance in the loading coil.
