Thanks for the sympathy Mike - I have just returned from the courier,
having shipped my receiver off to the Drake hospital. After talking to them
over the 'phone - they recognized the problem right away, and pretty well
knew the fix..... and will be doing the factory upgrades that have occurred
since mine left the factory. All in the front end, interestingly enough !

So now, I shall be mojitoring with my Wells-Gardiner RBL-4 and my National
HRO..... and shall be kept warm by the glow of the tubes within.

In addition I will be having therapy sessions until my receiver returns
safely !

Oh - well - at least the 137.780 is still smokin'
