I have been noticing a steady degradation of my
receive capabilities over the past week or so.

The recent snow storm buried both of the 70' horizontal sections
of my K9AY loops. The control head is also buried but
is sealed in a plastic bag.

Apparently it is important that the horizontal sections not be cover with
snow <G><G>

My signals levels are about 10 to15 dB less then normal!
The K9AY is about 200' from my house and that area has
3 to 4' snow drifts so I guess it will be a while before I get the
antenna back to normal.

If I only had a snow mobile!!
